The National Institute of Child Health Karachi is the 550-bed public sector pediatric hospital providing life saving treatment to over 1 Million patients annually, Free of Cost.
Some patients come from as far away as Baluchistan, Punjab and KPK. It has the largest infant incubator facility as well as the largest pediatric ER in Pakistan. It is the only hospital providing 24 hours pediatric surgical emergency to over 5 million children within its reach with nearly 1,000 children visiting the OPD daily.

Nearly 50% of the patients are from out of Karachi and have already depleted their resources by the time they reach the hospital.

The NICH Trust was established to provide a reliable channel for donor funds to be used in a legal, transparent and effective manner with the primary purpose of helping to alleviate the suffering of the poor that come to the hospital.
